On the last day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia shows in March-April this year, the winners of the Moscow Competition of Young Designers demonstrated their collections.
Marina Petrova named her collection Russian soul. White, wood-brown and green are three colors of the Russian soul according to the designer. A la russe details complemented the images: accessories made of white felt, appliqués and green fur.
Collection "Girl of the Field" by Angelina Gruzdeva as diverse as Russia itself. The dress was opened with flowers and Gzhel painting, the theme was continued with bows, lace and batik, embroidered flowers, felted accessories and various types of traditional paintings and dressing. Not without flower wreaths and actual maxi dresses.
Collection "Ryabinushka" Galina Shavadova inspired by the costume of the peoples of the Far North with their stylized amulets, fur boots, skirt and trim, warm jackets and a characteristic brown gamut.
"Dreamers" by Yana Kalinina - men's collection. It is characterized by a free cut, a peculiar styling under a sport chic with a touch of bohemianity, catchy prints and at the same time restrained colors.
Tatyana Malchikova focused on prints and decor: large and small kaleidoscopic patterns adorn dresses of different lengths and silhouettes, and colored feathers often adorn the armhole of the shoulder.
The only young designer among the winners of the competition is Maxim Chernykh - Presented the collection "Legends of Autumn": a chiffon coating on classic models of women's clothing, delicate leather belts and pelerine, a bright floral print in the Zhostovo style.
Svetlana Evstigneeva started the show with a lace dress of the bride. It was followed by couture dresses of the wedding-evening theme with mesh skirts and decorated with voluminous details on the top, with baroque gold embroidery and dense lace patterns on a transparent basis.
