Rather than using cheap cosmetics, it’s better to cook healthy masks from fresh products, such as tomatoes, at home.

Here are some tried and tested recipes:

For normal skin:

Mash boiled potatoes, mix with milk and freshly squeezed tomato juice until gruel forms. Apply on face and neck for 25 minutes, then rinse first with warm, then cold water. This mask is recommended to be applied once a week with sessions of 3-4 weeks with a break of 3 months.

For dry skin:

It is good to grind a tablespoon of freshly squeezed tomato juice with the same amount of potato starch or rice flour (you can grind rice grains in a coffee grinder). Add a few drops of olive oil. Apply on face and neck for 15-20 minutes and rinse with warm and then cold water. These masks are also made in a course of 10-12 masks every 3-4 days with a break of 3-4 months.

For oily skin:

Crush the tomato pulp (without skin and grains) and mix with a small amount of egg yolk. Add so much fat-free cottage cheese to make a slurry. This slurry is applied to the skin for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

By the way, 100 g of tomatoes contain only 20 kcal, but at the same time they contain a lot of vitamin B² (very important for metabolism) and K (improves blood coagulation), as well as vitamins A, B¹ and C.
