Designer Yana Nedzvetskaya presented the result of her second underwater show SS17 “The Ben-Sira Alphabet. Lilith”, which was held on the rocky shore of Tarhankut.

Yana Nedzvetskaya unexpectedly for the fashion world made a daring revolution in the presentation of seasonal collections! She released fashion from the cramped dusty catwalks into a huge, real, vibrant world and adapted displays for the millionth audience of all countries of the world. It is important to understand that this is not a movie. And not a short film at all. The uniqueness of the project lies precisely in the fact that this is a completely new seasonal presentation of the collection by the designer.
After the first underwater show, “Harmagedon. Psalm 36:29,” the Russian and foreign press quickly realized that great changes were coming in the fashion world. Many well-known websites wrote about this (DAILY MAIL, VOGUE, GLAMUR, Fashion TV Paris, Cosmopolitan, etc.) There was a real stir on Fashion TV-Paris - in the first week the video received more than 1,500,000 views, and it became clear that a completely new phenomenon was born both for fashion journalism and for the public. The views of the video of this show for six months exceeded 22 million.

And in April 2016, after the ss 2016 show “What a Dead Rabbit Thinks of Fashion” in a real barn, seasonal shows by Yana Nedzvetskaya took on a clearer outline in a new direction.
Yana Nedzvetskaya participated in fashion weeks from the date of their foundation, for 15 long years.Having fully exhausted this format, she found her unique form of seasonal shows.
A limited number of guests puts the catwalk shows, albeit with millions of budgets, at a disadvantage. Clothing on the catwalk is a dead end for the presentation of collections. Clothing is made for hundreds of thousands of ordinary people who live, travel, love, relax ... And all this audience should see clothes not on the catwalk, but where they will wear them - in our world. Where it is needed.
The show, which is integrated into life and responds to the needs of the international community, as it turned out, can attract millions of fans around the world.
Balancing at the peak of public interest in short videos, Yana correctly uses current trends. Fashion is incredibly dependent on the era, on the pulse of history, on the beating of the heart of our world.
It must be flexible and responsive to world events. Each show of Yana Nedzvetskaya answered precisely these requests of time: both the “Orange Revolution” - about the events of the first Ukrainian revolution and the senselessness of coups, (2012), and “The Bridge between two worlds” (2013) - about the global problem of confrontation between the East and Of the West.

In the final of the show “Ben-Syrah Alphabet. Lilith”, Jan herself jumped from a cliff.
“I was almost chickened,” the designer recalls. “Honestly, I’ve already come up with about ten excuses why I won’t jump. I tried to convince myself that it’s not at all necessary that this will not show anything new, that my carcass is flying from the cliff down, no one will cause any interest.Well and so on ... Everything that losers tell themselves when they are cowardly.
As the end of the show was approaching, I started to get a real panic. Last model release. I jump out from behind a stone. I think that I just bow and shamefully stomp myself back. She looked into the abyss, was horrified how fragile Liza Arzamasova, the soloist of the Ballet Moscow Theater Sasha Kirshina, slender young models could jump down without a second thought ... I followed the same way, as if on the last trip. Being really sure that I will not swim out of the abyss. And nothing. When it emerged, it was a shame how I could even think about not jumping. "
