Business style without financial investments: our blazer vest looks like new, in addition, it makes the office wardrobe more modern.
You can turn a jacket into a vest easily and quickly. It is done like this:
YOU WILL NEED: Double-breasted jacket (blazer), slanting inlay 4 cm wide, 1.20 m long. Measuring tape and pins. Small scissors for ripping. Magic crayon or marker with fading paint
STEP 1 Prepare a slanting trim for edging (see previous photo).
With small scissors, carefully open the sleeves on the upper fabric and on the lining.
STEP 2 Mark and then cut a deeper armhole: back 3 cm at the shoulder seam and 1 cm at the side. In armholes, sweep the lining and upper fabric.
STEP 3 Turn over the armholes with an oblique trim. Expand the oblique again and push it into the armholes face to face. Tuck the ends. Stitch the oblique hem to a width of 1 cm along the fold. Wrap the oblique around the edges inward, tuck and stab. Sew the hem from the front to the edge.
