After Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer learned about the upcoming wedding of Grace Kelly and Prince of Monaco, the owners decided to make the actress a luxurious gift - a wedding dress. The whole dress was literally strewn with natural pearls, which gave along with a special charm and elegance. Pink boats, lace hairpins and a prayer book, which was considered a necessary attribute for any bride, complemented the image.
Grace Kelly's wedding gown instantly became an icon of 20th-century wedding fashion, largely due to the fact that it again brought into fashion the princess's image, forgotten during the Great Depression and wars. Now the legendary outfit can be seen at the Museum of Art in Philadelphia.

The bride’s head was adorned with a veil, which inherited Jacqueline by inheritance and an incredibly beautiful tiara, in which lace and small flowers of an orange tree were woven. Family jewelry complemented the image - and a diamond bracelet donated by the future spouse.
