The show of the first Maria Grazia Curie cruise collection for Dior, held in the Upper Canyon of the Las Virginia Nature Reserve, took us to the endless wild prairies. Bright and unusual beadwork, pompoms and sequins, pleating and feather-decorated tulle, unusual prints and fabrics not quite typical for a cruise - all this, like a mosaic, has developed into an exotic and exciting Curie collection.
For the new collection, the designer raised the archives of the 1951 collection, inspired by ancient cave paintings of the south-west of France, so in Resort 2017 you will find Lascaux's drawings on dresses, outerwear and even accessories. Luxurious poncho and raincoats over unusually exquisite embroidered dresses in combination with cowboy hats create at the same time sophisticated and at the same time very relaxed images, and the number of details and accents cannot but impress: here, and lace, and beads, and sequins, and fringe, and even frank transparency. A real holiday for those who love sophisticated boho and ethnicity!
