The Les Arts Decoratifs Museum features over 700 dolls and their rich wardrobe.
More than seven hundred Barbie dolls presented at the exhibition are dressed in dresses from the most famous designers of the past and present - Dior, Moschino, Sophia Webster, Jean Paul Gaultier, Carven, Chanel, Maison Margiela, Thierry Mugler, Jeremy Scott, Sonia Rykiel, Oscar de la Renta, Paco Rabanne, Christian Lacroix and Yves Saint Laurent. A special place in the exposition is occupied by the works of Christian Louboutin, who in 2009 created a separate collection of shoes for Barbie - a series of their joint photographs is presented at the exhibition.
This year, Barbie marks the next, non-circular, date - 57 years. Over the years, the famous blonde tried on not only hundreds of designer outfits, but also tried herself in more than 150 professions, which is also reflected in the opening exhibition - among the exhibits are a cosmonaut doll, a fashion editor, a surgeon, a stewardess and even a presidential candidate, in which easy to recognize hilary clinton.
Make your contribution to the wardrobe of the famous doll - we bring to your attention patterns to sew dresses for Barbie dolls with your own hands.
