Fleece, flannel, faux fur - it is not necessary to knit scarves and snoods, you can also sew them!
1. Fleece snoods: master class
Soft and pleasant to the touch fleece is a good material for a snout in a sports style. By the way, for the outer part of the snood you can take a more elegant and effective material, while also elastic, for example, warm knitwear, and for the inside use fleece. In this master class - 3 patterns for snoods in one turn of different sizes: for toddlers, older children and for adults.
You will need:
- fleece of two colors (option - fleece + other material);
- scissors;
- sewing machine and thread;
- needle for hand sewing.

- scissors;
- sewing machine and thread;
- needle for hand sewing.
Work sequence:
Follow the pattern described in the master class above: first sew the long sides, then the short ones, leaving the hole, then - twist and sew the hole.

3. Flannel scarf-snood with snap closure: master class
If you want to sew a snood from an inelastic material, for example, from a cozy and soft flannel, it is worth providing a fastener on it. For example, buttons on leather straps, as in this model. If you make a snud long enough, it can be worn like a scarf.
You will need:
- flannel;
- natural rather dense skin;
- buttons and device for their installation;
- scissors;
- roller knife and mat mat;
- Ruler and pencil;
- pins;
- clamps;
- sewing machine and thread;
- needle for hand sewing.
Step 1
Decide on the length and width of the snood you need, build a pattern. This snood is two to three turns, so it should be quite long. Width - at your discretion, taking into account the fact that the flannel will be folded in half.
Step 2
Sew and fold the parts as shown in the diagram.
Step 3
From the skin, carve 2 identical parts of the planks. The length of each is equal to the width of the short side of the finished snood, the width is about 3 cm.
Step 4
Chip folded in half along the snood with pins. Insert strips of leather between the layers inside and secure with clips.
Step 5
Sew the snood according to the pattern, leave a hole for turning out.
Step 6
Cut corners.
Step 7
Turn out the snood and sew the hole manually with a blind seam.
Step 8
Mark the locations for the buttons and install them. Done!

Step 3

Simple, but very impressive: voluminous cozy flannel scarf with fringe.
