One or another method of processing the neckline is determined by the model, fabric, and the actual type of neckline. The V-neck in delicate fabrics is typically machined.

In the charming silk blouses of Burda 10/2018, a graceful V neckline accentuates the beauty of the neck. How to process it with a grinder so that the stitching seam is not visible from the front side, we will consider in our master class.

Step 1

Chip off the details of the shelf and back on the shoulder sections and grind. Cut the allowances of each seam to a width of 7 mm, overcast and iron on the back.

Step 2

Duplicate trim parts.

Step 3

Put the front neckline on the back of the neckline with the front side facing the front side, chop and grind the shoulder sections. Iron the seam allowances. Neaten the lower cut of the grind.

Step 4

Pin the grind to the neck cut with the front side to the front side, aligning the shoulder seams. Cut the seam allowances to a width of 7 mm, in the rounding sections, cut in several places on the corner. In the middle line of the front, seam allowances should be cut close to the line (this place is indicated by an arrow in the photo).

Step 5

First, grind the grind up to the neck, then iron the seam allowances for the grind of the grind on the grinder. Sew on the seam to the seam allowances close to the seam - so the seam will lie evenly on the wrong side, even without the finishing stitch on the front side.

Then turn the facing to the wrong side, sweep the neck and iron. Sew the inner section of the grind manually to the allowances for the shoulder seams and the middle seam of the back.
