Floral ethnic motifs, colorful painting, talismans for happiness and other cute little things were once obligatory for those who sought to establish a kingdom of love on earth.
In such a frame, even the smallest mirror will become an interior decoration. The frame is pasted over with embossed foil and beautifully painted.YOU NEED: a mirror with a wooden frame size. 26 x 26 cm; silver foil for embossing and embossing tool; paints for painting porcelain in yellow, orange, purple, blue and green; universal glue; masking tape; transparent paper (tracing paper); rubber mat as a backing; universal scissors, triangle, ruler, wide and thin brush, ballpoint pen, pencil.
EXECUTION: on a transparent paper, copy a sample of the ornament for embossing and enlarge to the desired size. From embossing foil, cut 4 strips across the width of the mirror frame. Around give allowances 1 cm wide. Using a triangle, mow the ends at an angle of 45 °. If necessary, connect the motive lines at the corners.
Fix the sample with adhesive tape on the foil. Put the foil on the rubber mat and carefully copy all the lines with a ballpoint pen without strong pressure. Remove and deepen dents with embossing tools.
At the end, turn the foil over and process the pattern with an embossing hammer. The motif on the foil is painted with porcelain paints with a thin brush. Work leave to dry overnight. Then, according to the instructions on the package of paints, burn in the oven.
